The CHAW gallery features a range of professional and student artists in shows and residencies throughout the year. The gallery showcases work by community members, as well as established and emerging local visual artists.
CHAW’s gallery is home to the Capitol Hill Art League, a consortium of emerging and professional artists who showcase, and sell member work, offer professional development and outside showing opportunities.

Adi Segal is a multi-disciplinary artist investigating cultural identity and context through experimental screenprinting, mixed media, and community art projects. She holds a Masters in Social Work from Fordham University, a BFA from SUNY Purchase, and a BA in Education Studies and History of Art and Architecture from Brown University. Adi has worked as an artist, art teacher, and community art facilitator in many different communities around the world including central Washington state; Cork, Ireland; and Lilongwe, Malawi. Past artist residencies include Frans Masareel Centrum/Belgium, SiM/Iceland, and Pyramid Atlantic Arts Center/USA. Adi currently lives in Washington DC, and maintains a studio at Red Dirt Studios in Mt. Rainier, MD.
Adi is a former CHAW art teacher and outreach workshop teacher, as well as former CHAW parent. She coordinated the 2022 CHAW online art fundraiser, and continues to be involved with Serve Your City/Ward 6 Mutual Aid.
